We Didn’t Just Research Chile. We Moved Here.

We moved to Chile in 2013 looking for a new beginning. More than 13 years later, Chile is home. Along the way we have raised a family here, bought property, built businesses, homesteaded, lived off-grid, and helped other foreigners navigate the realities of relocating to Chile.

Chile Expat Family grew out of that experience. Our goal is simple: share what we have learned—the good, the bad, the surprising, and sometimes the downright difficult—so you can make better-informed decisions about whether Chile is right for you.
